Adrian Andrews Jr.

Adrian Andrews is a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) for WFSU Public Media. He is a Gadsden County native and a first-generation college graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism and Graphic Communications. Adrian is a military veteran, ending his 6-year career as a Florida Army National Guard Non-Commissioned Officer.

 

Adrian has worked in the broadcast and telecommunications industry for over seven years, serving as WFSU’s lead local sports reporter, the co-host of WFSU’s very first sports podcast, and a sports columnist for the Gadsden County Times. Adrian has worked with National Public Radio (NPR), breaking some of the top news stories across the Sunshine State. His work in covering college sports has made him a promising sports reporter.

In just Adrian’s second year with WFSU, he was nominated for a Sunshine State Award by the Society of Professional Journalists (Florida) for his radio and digital coverage of Florida State University football.
