Adrian Andrews Jr.

Adrian Andrews is a News Producer and Digital Streaming Producer at WJHG/WECP in Panama City, Florida. A Gadsden County native, Adrian is a first-generation graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Journalism & Graphic Communication and a military veteran who served six years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Florida Army National Guard.

Adrian has more than seven years of experience in broadcast journalism, with a background in news, sports, and digital media. In addition to producing newscasts, he creates and manages content across WJHG’s streaming platforms and has served as a fill-in sports reporter and anchor during high school football season. Before joining WJHG, Adrian worked as WFSU’s lead local sports reporter, co-hosted the station’s first sports podcast, contributed as a sports columnist for the Gadsden County Times, and reported for NPR member station WFSU.

Adrian was nominated for a Sunshine State Award by the Society of Professional Journalists (Florida) for his radio and digital coverage of Florida State football.
